My questions is this: [Please tell me if I am mistaken if this is a Twilight Zone 80’s episode or not:
It’s about a cute young girl who grows up in a modern home and is neglected by both her mother and father who devotes most of their time entertaining their friends a lot and hardly pay any attention to her. The young girl who is smart and independent to start with, learns to fend for herself i.e. dress herself up, prepares herself a meal, etc. Gradually things around her house change, like there’s only wine in the refrigerator and her picture gradually disappears from the photos. And her parents gradually start to not notice her. A strange man appears from the kitchen closet and urges her to come with him and tells her she has not been born yet. She asks him and wonders if her "parents" will miss her and he says no, except for an occasional fleeting feeling or ache that something is missing in their lives….and I think it’s implied that she is going to another family. And this was a ‘preview’ of what her life would be like if she was born to this couple.
So is this a Twilight Zone episode? I can’t find it in any of my 1985-86 Season 1, 2, and 3 DVD episode listings. This is also one of my most favorite episodes and I can’t seem to find it. What is the title of this episode? If this is NOT a TZ episode, is it from the Monsters series? From what series was it and what is the TITLE OF THIS EPISODE? [I’m sure it’s NOT from The Outer Limits, or Night Gallery, or even the 2002 Twilight Zone reboot.
